MAIN RESEARCH NOTES

With a sudden change in routine because of the quarantine, it could negatively affect the mental state of teenagers since they are unable to do the things they enjoy on a daily basis outside (Null, 2020).

By being at home 24/7, there is a sudden increase in free time. To fill it up, teenagers will find activities to do and try to create new content. However, new ideas and challenges slowly become limited as everything becomes done before

General duration of one’s attention span is becoming short because of how much more exposed to information we are. Hence, there is a rapid exhaustion of limited content (Technical University Of Denmark, 2019).

DEVELOPMENT

Further Concept Generation

for this app, i decided to go with something like a task sheet that allowed teens to earn rewards after doing a task. this encourages teenagers to stay active and take care of themselves while earning rewards.

each task the person does, they earn points which can be redeemed into vouchers. for confirmation purposes, users have to take a video or photo on the spot.

REFLECTION

This project was a step out of my comfort zone since I had very little experience Adobe XD prior to this.

However, with research and tutorials at my expense, I was able to use XD with some ease.

I feel like I could have done more for the research portion of this project and could have gone more in-depth before finalizing on a "How Might We" statement and researching from there on.

It was a very new deep dive into UI/UX design and I would like to have more opportunities to work on more UI/UX type projects
